Yes, they can. That is why we have a anti-spoil delay setting that you can set to prevent events to be triggered too soon.
Some TV broadcasts or Streaming services have broadcasting delays that can make ConnectedRoom trigger events before you see them on TV.
We developped a feature that allows you to delay anything ConnectedRoom sends by an amount of seconds.
In ConnectedRoom, go to Settings and you can set an amount of seconds to delay everything that can be triggered by our app.
Yes, you can.
ConnectedRoom offers a variety of sports and leagues. We just ask you your favourite sport and team in order to always have at least one game available in the app.
In order to watch different games or even different games from other sports, we developed the Calendar feature.
With Calendar, you can schedule games from any leagues and sports up to 14 days in advance.
The games you schedule will override the ones from your favourite team.
Yes, you can.
Aside of our integrations for lights and smart plugs, ConnectedRoom can send events to webhooks.
We also offer an Home Assistant integration for more complexe automations, goal horns and text-to-speech.
In ConnectedRoom, a webhook is an URL that you can setup to receive events on another service.
There are many ways to use webhooks, like IFTTT, Zapier, Home Assistant or HomeKit.
ConnectedRoom comes with Audio Players integrations which can play text-to-speech description of goals and other events. You can also play goal horns when the home team scores.
In the app, open the menu and click on Audio Players. You can decide where to play the audio on this screen.
If you are on a Chrome device, Google Cast is available. Otherwise, you can activate the local player and use Bluetooth to play it on other devices.

In order for text-to-speech and goal horns to always play, you need to make sure to keep the app open. On mobile, it can be difficult, but we are working on Android and iOS apps. For now, you can keep a computer opened using a Web browser to open the app there.
First, you need to make sure that the Audio Player is enabled. To do that, open the Audio panel from the menu and make sure one of the players is in an active state.
Also, check the Goal Horn Settings for more fine tuning and verify that the settings are set correctly.

Make sure you selected the lights in the Integration panel. After connecting the integration, make sure to select and configure the lights and assign them a color.
To do so, open Lights in the menu and click Edit on the integration that doesn't work.
For Govee, make sure your lights are not Bluetooth only and that your lights are labeled as "Work with Alexa & Google Home".
If you are getting a "Cant't find /devices/" error on your scoreboard, you can navigate to the url below on your scoreboard:

It will reset the keys and allow you to create a new one. If you want to add a second scoreboard on the same device, you can add ?display=2 and ?display=3 to the URL.
Next time you will want to open your scoreboards, just navigate to devices.connectedroom.io/?display=1 and devices.connectedroom.io/?display=2 and go on.

To reopen the scoreboards after they have been closed, reopen the same links and you will be redirected to the previously created scoreboard.

Yes, you can have multiple lights.
Right now, there is no limit of lights in ConnectedRoom.
You can use as many lights as you want and add as many integrations as you want.
Unfortunately, we do not offer lifetime subscription due to the cost of operation of ConnectedRoom.

Yes. We offer two features for two scenarios.
Everything is triggered before I see it on TV
If you're finding that key moments are being revealed before you get to experience them on TV, you now have the option to delay all actions performed by ConnectedRoom by a customizable number of seconds.
To do so, you can navigate to Settings in the menu, and adjust the Anti-Spoiler delay to make sure that the clock in the app remains on or behind the one on your TV.
Everything is triggered late like 30 seconds after it happened
For latency issues, you can use the buttons in the app. If you navigate to Buttons in the menu, you will be able to trigger things manually from there.
We also support Physical Buttons. Currently, SONOFF buttons can be linked to ConnectedRoom easily and allow for manual triggering.
Yes, ConnectedRoom comes with a feature called Anti-Spoiler Delay.
You can set up to 120 seconds of delay to ConnectedRoom.
In the app, navigate to Settings and open the Anti-Spoiler panel.
You can make sure that the clock in-app remains on or behind the one you see on TV.
No. It is currently impossible to watch recorded games with ConnectedRoom.
However, this is in the roadmap and might eventually become possible.
Yes, you can add custom audio.
In the app, navigate to Teams and select the team you want to customize the audio.
You will be able to upload custom audio files that will play in realtime during the game.
Yes, you can edit colors for each teams.
In the menu, navigate to Teams and select the team you want to change the colors for.
You will be able to change the Lighting colors and the Scoreboards color.
If you are getting a "Test Failed" message when testing, wait 30 seconds before testing again.
You instance might be migrating to the test servers and is not yet available.
If the issue persists, try to Go Live and then back to Test Mode.
Test Mode will trigger a random score from the previous game played by the selected team.
It will alternate between home and away team, starting with the home team.
Please note that My Team Only will not affect test mode and will only be effective once using it for a live game.
In the menu, navigate to Settings.
On the settings page, you will be able to enable My Team Only option.
Please note that this option will not be effective in Test Mode and will only work during a live game.
To change your lights color, you can navigate to Lights using the menu. You then need to open the integration by clicking the Edit button on the one you want to edit.
Each lights can be assigned a color from the scoring team.
If your lights are Govee, you can also decide to activate a scene when your team scores.
In the Govee app, you can create DIY scenes. Once you created one for your team, it will appear in ConnectedRoom when selecting Activate a scene in one of the light events.
